This blackening liquid is suitable for experienced model builders as well as for amateurs, as it is naturally easy to use.

Application Areas and Advantages

  • Surface Finishing: Gives aluminium parts a professional appearance.
  • Repair: Perfect for touching up scratches and abrasion marks.
  • Re-blackening: Enables complete re-coating of surfaces.
  • Versatile Application: Can be applied by brushing or dipping.
  • Colour Result: Produces colourings up to a rich black.
  • Abrasion-resistant and Durable: The treated surfaces are resistant.
  • Dilution: Can be diluted 1:1 with water for adjusted results.

Preparation and Application Notes

For optimal results, we recommend thorough mechanical pre-cleaning of your workpiece. If this is not possible, pre-treatment with BALLISTOL Alu-Primer (conditioner) (item no. 121020) can improve adhesion.
