PROXXON Micromot 60 E: The Precision Tool for Model Makers and Fine Mechanics

The PROXXON MICROMOT 60/E drill and milling machine is a versatile multi-function tool, ideal for model makers, engravers, and fine mechanics. With its glass-fibre reinforced housing, a length of 220 mm, and a weight of only 230 g, it sits comfortably in the hand. The stepless speed control allows adjustment from 5,000 to 20,000 rpm, while the ball-bearing steel spindle and high torque at lower speeds ensure precise work. PROXXON Micromot 60 E is supplied with 6 steel collets (3-slotted) in sizes 1.0-1.5-2.0-2.4-3.0-3.2 mm. A power supply unit (MICROMOT NG2E) is required for operation (DC voltage 12-18 V, 40 W), which you can also find at fohrmann.com.

With a diameter of only 35 mm and a weight of 230 g, the Micromot 60 E precision device is a true multi-talent. It is excellent for drilling, milling, grinding, polishing, brushing, cleaning, derusting, cutting, engraving, and signing. Processing materials such as steel, precious metal, glass, ceramics, plastic, and minerals is easily possible. The combination of compactness and performance is hard to beat in special tools. Precision ball bearings ensure flawless radial and axial guidance of the spindle made of ground special steel. The finely balanced electric motor guarantees vibration-free continuous operation with excellent performance at voltages from 12 to a maximum of 18 volts.

Thanks to low-voltage safety (9-12 V) and the reverse-polarity protected power plug, you can also safely use the Micromot 60 series for working with cooling liquids. The high-quality, triple-slotted steel collets ensure a precise yet firm hold of the inserts. The comfortable pen grip allows for pleasant handling, and the controls are intuitively placed.

The spindle lock button in the front grip area allows for tool changes in seconds. For stationary use, the device features the PROXXON System fit of 20 mm, so it can be clamped into various holders. The housing nut is adapted for use with numerous holders from the PROXXON accessory program.
