The hot wire cutter PROXXON Thermocut 12/E is your indispensable tool for detailed model building. Whether you want to process styrofoam sheets or create complex profiles, this device enables the finest modeling with the highest precision. The stable bracket can be flexibly adjusted: the upper fastening element is swiveling, the lower wire fastening is extendable. This results in a maximum total reach of 200 mm and a height clearance of 150 mm, giving you plenty of freedom for your projects.

Experience a remarkable heating time of only one second. The cutting wire temperature can be continuously adjusted between approx. 150°C and 350°C. With a little practice and depending on the material density and thickness, you will always achieve an optimal cut, usually at medium temperature and moderate pressure. The scope of delivery includes five deformable cutting wires (200 x 0.85 mm), so you can start your work immediately.
