Bridges can be built, model modifications can be realised with our brass profiles in smallest dimensions and various shapes such as round, square, hexagonal, T, I, H, U and angle profiles, and small details can be reproduced on models. In most cases, the profile is sawn and can be soldered well.
Our brass and bronze sheets are available in thicknesses from 0.1 mm upwards and, depending on the requirements, can be used to make complete locomotives or carriages, for example, and wheel grinders are made of spring hard bronze sheets. The application possibilities are manifold, whether repair or new model building projects, we offer the model maker a selected assortment.
The intended use determines which materials are used. For example, bronze wire is particularly conductive and is preferred for overhead line construction. Spring steel wire is very elastic, it can be used to build small springs and even for jewellery production the stainless design is suitable. Brass and bronze can be bent into various shapes and soldered very well. Silver steel is often used for the manufacture of axles due to its special hardness.
Small brass chains with closed links are also known as anchor chains. Brass chains can be used, for example, to secure loads. Brass grids and fabrics are turned into fences, covers, screens or nets.
Brass screws and nuts from M1 upwards, as cylinder, countersunk head or hexagonal bolts are indispensable for model makers. Micronuts made of brass, think of Eiffel Tower,"Blue Wonder" or historic models - unthinkable without rivets.
Our wooden profiles are also becoming increasingly popular, for the construction of cargo, bridge constructions, doll's house furniture and the construction of wooden shingles - you certainly have completely new ideas - trust your imagination!
